Bath

We've arrived!
Yesterday we arrived safe and sound in London yesterday. By then it was about 1 in the afternoon there. We got our car at the airport and started driving to our first destination: Bath. On the way we stopped to see Stone Henge (from afar) and Aveburry (which has similar stone carvings).
We arrived in Bath around 7 o'clock. By that time we were very hungry. I had only eaten cheerios at that point because I hate airplane food and I get sick on planes anyway. My dad had found a nice pub, The Crystal Palace, in a travel book. The problem: We couldn't find it. Finally my dad pulled over and asked some nice British boys where it was. Turns out it was in a small pedestrian square and we had been driving circles around it the whole time. My dad offered to buy the two guys some beer in thanks for their guidance. After we talked to them for a little bit we learned that the guys, Dom and Mark (no not my dad), had finished their A levels (I think that's right) which are similar to our SATs. They had just graduated around the time I got out of school (which is really early for them). Anyway it was an awesome dinner and the guys were wonderful so it was a great way to start the trip.
Today I woke up at 3 am, ate more cheerios, went back to bed and then woke up again at 11. These time zones are messing me up. So we ate "breakfast" at the place we're staying and met two other guys who were there training for skeleton (it's like a one person bobsled thing I think).
As today's activity we visited the Roman baths that they are famous for. Then we went on a two hour walking tour around the town. It was very fun and informative, but my feet hurt now. I didn't wear good walking shoes. Finally we went on a boat ride to Bath Hampton which is about two miles away. There we went to a restaurant called Bath Hampton Mill that Dom and Mark suggested the yesterday. The food was amazing (thanks for the suggestion guys)!
So now we're back at the B&B and chillin' for a while.
Bye for now,
Mallory
P.s. if either Dom or Mark is reading this, my dad is serious about his offer, we'd love to see you again
P.p.s There will be pictures soon. I can't seem to upload them for some reason
